What the idea is:
Our idea is to create a digital interface using RFID in which
displays your life span in a numerical form and offers an alternative to
currency. A chip would be inserted in to the wrist, working in various ways
such as paying for things, seeing your life span and gaining more life span.
The RFID chip will be used as a transfer, in order to transfer currency,
working in a contactless form.
What interface solutions are needed?
Cybernetic UI
cybernetics is the science/study behind regulations of mechanisms in human and machine systems, we will be using this to form the relationship between the chip and the persons arm in order to create the interface and how it will work.
Who are we interfacing for?
The interface will be created for regular people, as it can be
incorporated into everyday life, such as earning your pay, seeing your life
span and gaining more.
Do those users have limitations we must design for?
A limitation that we would have to design for would be people whom
are amputees and blind, for the amputees we can create a robotic arm,
installing a chip into the arm in order to work just like an arm. Those whom
are blind we could install the chip with the setting of the interface numbers
that would appear, would appear in brail so that those who are blind can
communicate through this.
What is the content?
The future, personal data displaying life span currency, Installing
and designing a cybernetic UI user interface to display visually and
information chip.
How do we deliver the information?
With this interface, the information will be delivered through a
digital form, enabled from the microchip/ motherboard that would be installed
into the persons wrist.
Is it interactive?
Yes, radio frequency identification (RFID) will be used. RFID is
the use of radio waves to read and capture stored information, there are many
advantages to RFID as it is basically a portable database, inserted into your
wrist using real time.
What previous solutions exists?
Microchipping
USER SCENARIOS:
name: John smith
age: 32
job: stock broker
scenario:
John works in central London amongst the busy stock broker
industry, he has a well-paid job. he recently got his 'life chip' installed and
can now visually see his life span appear on his arm. John went to work, and,
on his lunch, break received his pay check, in the form of time, he simply
inserted his arm into the time chamber and his time was uploaded to his chip
and appeared in real time on his arm, adding to his life span.
Name: Louie
Age: 21
Occupation: student
Scenario:
Louie is a university student, who
commutes daily to his university, he gets a student loan three times a year, in
which helps to pay for travel and food as well as essentials he would need at
uni. Louie recently got the ‘life chip’ installed and can now visually see how
much money he has and has spent just by looking at his wrist. Louie bought a
ticket at the train station and paid for it through the RFID chip in his arm
just by simply swiping his arm against the card reader, just like a contactless
payment.
