Smart Everything: Machine Sensing and Awareness CONCEPT:

CONCEPT: The concept I have created is a “smart blanket” allowing the user to adjust the temperature of each side of their bed to how they want it, hot, warm or cold. The blanket would be split directly down the middle so that if one person wanted it hot it would be able to heat on just one side of it and remain room temperature on the other side. The blanket would be powered through an app, set for two people (max) to use (if with a partner or even just having a sleepover) the app would have the settings allowing you to change this with a meter of hot and cold. The blanket would be aimed at people over the age of 16 just due to the technology involved and the app would be available to be downloaded on the app and android stores. The app would include settings such as adjusting the temperature of the blanket and also setting timers on how long you want the blanket to stay hot or cold for due to obviously falling asleep.
